RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 36
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING OUTGOING BUFFALO GROVE DAYS COMMITTEE CHAIR
MAUREEN WELBORN FOR SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY 1990 -2002
WHEREAS, Maureen (Mo) Welborn has served on the Buffalo Grove Days Committee for the past 12
years, and;
WHEREAS, Mo has served as Chair of that Committee for the past seven years; and
WHEREAS, the Buffalo Grove Days event over that time has continued to grow in a number of ways,
including a much expanded program for people with disabilities, the further designation of Monday as a family day
with no alcohol sales, expanded cooperation and interaction with the Buffalo Grove Chamber of Commerce to
enhance the event, increased children's and young adult entertainment, expanded fireworks display along with an
improved economic viability for the event; and .
