RESOLUTION APPOINTING AN AUTHORIZED AGENT TO THE
ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND (IMRF)
WHEREAS, The Village of Buffalo Grove adopted the By -Laws of the Illinois
Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) by Ordinance and thereby became a member
of said program; and
WHEREAS, said Illinois Pension Code provides that participating units of local
government shall by majority vote of its Corporate Authorities select one (1)
person to represent that body as Authorized Agent of said program with powers
and duties to include the ability to file a petition for nomination of an executive
trustee of IMRF and to cast a ballot for election of an executive trustee of IMRF;
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by CORPORATE AUTHORITIES, of the
Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, that Arthur A.
Malinowski, Director of Human Resources is hereby appointed Authorized Agent
for the Village of Buffalo Grove commencing November 1, 2000.
