COMMENDING GEORGE KRUG
J
FOR SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE AS A
PLAN COMMISSION MEMBER AND OFFICER, 1981 —1999
WHEREAS, George Krug served the Village as a Plan Commission member during two
separate tenures, the second beginning in 1981, including service as Secretary; and,

WHEREAS, George performed with excellence throughout his tenure on the
r Commission, providing intelligent and fair analysis in the guidance of growth and development
of the Village in its formative and in. addressing issues
years new as the community matured;
and,
WHEREAS, George made important contributions to the Village's comprehensive
planning process, particularly in the early years of the Village's development when sound
planning was critical in establishing the Village's form and character; and,
WHEREAS, George was recognized by the Village Board in June 1999 with
appointment as "Commissioner Emeritus," and has continued to serve the Village as a member
of the Zoning Ordinance Review Sub- committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS THAT:
George Krug is commended and honored on behalf of the citizens of Buffalo Grove for
his excellent service to the Village as a Plan Commission member and officer.
