COAEEWENDING STEPHEN GOLDSPIEL
FOR SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE AS A
PLAN CONMIISSION MEMBER AND CHAIRMAN, 1974 -2000
WHEREAS, Stephen Goldspiel began his service to the Village as a Plan Commission member
on March 25, 1974 and was appointed as Chairman in November 1994; and,
WHEREAS, Stephen performed with, a celtFuo throughout his tenure on the Commission,
providing intelligent and fair analysis m the uiance ofgrow aarcdevelopment of the Village in its
formative years and in addressing n�w sues as the community matured, and,

1. Stephen Goldspiel is commended and honored on behalf of the citizens of Buffalo Grove
for his excellent service to the Village as a Plan Commission member and chairman.
2. Stephen Goldspiel is hereby appointed as "Commissioner Emeritus" in recognition of his
extraordinary commitment to the Village and his willingness to share his time and
expertise in the future on special projects.
