2014-13WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to the Illinois
Constitution of 1970; and,
WHEREAS, Section 2.08.060 of the Village of Buffalo Grove Municipal Code
provides that the Village Manager shall furnish a bond in such amount and with such surety
as may be approved by the Corporate Authorities of the Village and that such bond shall be
conditioned on the faithful performance of duties and shall be conditioned to indemnify the
Village for any loss by reason of any neglect of duty or any act of the Manager; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.08.060 of the Village of Buffalo Grove Municipal Code further
provides that the cost of the bond shall be paid by the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COUNTIES OF COOK AND LAKE,
STATE OF ILLINOIS, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are hereby incorporated and made a part of this
Resolution.
Section 2. The surety bond for the Village Manager shall be in the amount of
$25,000.00 and shall conform to the requirements of Section 2.08.060 of the Village of
Buffalo Grove Municipal Code. The cost of the bond shall be paid by the Village.
Section 3 This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval as provided by law.
