': i is -/ 7 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: Pursuant to Article VI of the Buffalo Grove Zoning Ordinance, and to the recommendation of the Plan Commission after a public hearing held thereon on July 28, 1966, in all respects held and notice thereof given pursuant to law, a special use is hereby granted permitting a privately - owned, limited membership recreation building and community center with accessory uses including swimming pool, tennis courts, bathhouse, restaurant and bar facilities, on the following described territory, lying West of Cambridge Countryside Unit One along Dundee Road, zoned R-9 and consist- ing of approximately 1.366 acres: The South 350 feet of the North 400 feet of the West 170 feet of the East 776.01 feet of the West one-half of the Northeast one -quarter, Section 9, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois, and for the use of such property consistent with such special use. SECTION 2: This special use is granted upon condition that such use commence on or before October 7, 1970. If such use is not commenced by said date, the permission for such use herein granted shall thereafter be of no further force or effect. SECTION 3: It is hereby found and declared that the evidence presented to the Plan Commission at the aforesaid public hearing is such to establish beyond reasonable doubt: a. That the proposed use at the particular location requested is necessary or desirable to provide a service or a facility which is in the interest of public convenience and will contribute to the general welfare of the neighborhood or community; b. That such use will not, under the circumstances of the particular case, be detrimental to the health, safety, morals, or general welfare of persons residing or working in the vicinity or injurious to property values or improvements in the vicinity; c. That the proposed use will comply with the regulations and conditions specified in this ordinance for such use, and with the stipulations and conditions made a part of the authorization granted by the Village Board of Trustees. SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
