AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a written Petition under oath
signed by the owner of record of all land within the
territory hereinafter described, has been filed with
the Village Clerk requesting that said territory be
annexed to the Village of Buffalo Grove; and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing within
said territory; and
WHEREAS, said territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous
to the Village of Buffalo Grove,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE,
COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the following described
territory:
Commencing at the point of intersection of
the E. line of the W.2 of the N.W. 4 of Sec.
9 T 42 N R 11 E. 3rd P.M. and the N. line of
the S 1/3 of the N.2 of the SE 4 of the N.W.4
of said Sec. 9, said point being the Point of
Beginning, thence: Easterly along the line
last mentioned a distance of 990.0 feet to
point, thence: Southerly along the E. line
of the W. 990.0 feet of the E2 of the NW4
of said Section 9 a distance of 84.93 feet to
a point, thence: Easterly a distance of 1628.79
feet to a point on the W. line of the N.E.4 of
the N.E. 4 of said Section 9, thence: Southerly
along the W. line of the N.E.4 of the N.E.4 of
said Sec.9 a distance of 761.53 to a point 33.0
feet N. of the S. line of the N.2 of said Sec.9,

the S. line of the NZ of Sec. 9 a distance
of 825.0 feet to a point, thence: Northerly
along the W. line of the E. 825.0 feet of the
W.2 of the N.E. 4 of Sec. 9 a distance of
451.14 feet to a point; thence: Westerly a
distance of 1799.44 feet to a point in the
E. line of the W2 of the N.W.4 of Sec. 9,
thence: Northerly along said E. line of the
W. 2 of the N.W. 4 of Sec. 9 a distance of
396.10 feet to the Point of Beginning, in
Cook County, Illinois, together with all of
every highway within and adjacent to, to the
far side thereof, such area.

Buffalo Grove, Illinois.
SECTION TWO:
That the Village Clerk of the
Village of Buffalo Grove is hereby directed to cause the
filing in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois, being the County in which said annexed
territory is situated, a copy of this ordinance, together
with an accurate map of the territory hereby annexed.
SECTION THREE: That this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
