WIIEREAS, a written petition has been filed with
the ViIIage Clerk of the ViJ-Iage of Buffalo crove by thc
owners and electors of territory described in Exh ib
attached hereto requesting the annexation of such territory
to the Village of Buffalo Grove; and
I{IIIEREAS, all of the or*ners of and atl of the
electors residing in such territory have joined in said
Petitisn; and
WHEREAS, such territory is not within the corporate
limits of any municipatity but is contiguous to the ViIIage of
Buffalo crove and eligible for annexation thereto; and
WHEREAS, vrritten notice of the proposed annexation
of such territory has by certified mail been given to the
Trustees of the Wheeling Bownship Fire protection Distrist,
such notice having been served ten (I0) days in advance, and
an affidavit that service of notice has been so had, having
been filed with the Recorder of Deeds of cook county as Document
No. 19599646, and
WHEREAS, the owners of record of such territory and
the corporate authorities of the Vill-age of Buffalo crove have
entered into a valid and binding annexation agreement related
to such territory; and

AN ORDINANCE ANND(ING CERTAIN
TERRITORY TO THE VILLAGE OF
BUFFALO GROVE
WIIEREAS, all petitions and other necessary legal
requirements are in full compliance with the requirements of
said annexation agreement, and the laws of the State of
I Il inois .
NOW, TIIEREFORE, be it ordained by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove,
Cook County, Illinois as follows:
SECTION I:Ihe territory described in Exhibit
"1" attached hereto and made part hereof, together with all
of every highway, to the far side thereof, adjacent to or
within such territory are hereby annexed to the Village of
Buffalo Grove.
SECTION 2:The Village Clerk is hereby authorized
and effect from and after its passage and approval as provided
by law.
