CALL TO ORDER
In attendance: Paulette Greenberg (PG), Ed Muldoon (EM), Jackie Beegun (JB), Jane
Primack (JP), Larry King (LK), Mindy Lazor (ML), Greg Sauser (GS), Steve McClelland
(SM), Sophia Safonoria (SS), and Joanne Johnson (JJ).
Call to Order: 7:00 PM
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
JP Identified some errors on the previous month’s minutes: Business of the Week and
Not for Profit should have been reversed. Gardening, Human nutrition should have been
listed under NFP. JP made a motion to approve updated minutes of 3/11/25, LK
2nd. Minutes approved unanimously.
DISCUSSION OF FOOD VENDORS
1. 2 vendors have canceled: Maggie Munchies, and one of the meat vendors.
2. Awaiting multiple vendor applications to arrive for approval
3. Food Truck: requested 2 dates for trial, 9/21, and 10/12. Approved.
4. Discussion of several other vendors – several approved, a couple not approved –
GS will send letters
DISCUSSION OF OTHER VENDORS
A. Business of the week
1. Business of the Week: No change
B. Not-For-Profits
1. Not for Profit: 1/3 of weeks filled
C. Entertainment
1. Musical Entertainment – All weeks except 1 have been booked.
GIVEAWAYS
1. PG brought in some samples from a place in Northbrook
2. ML has information from a vendor for Can Caps (500 for .69 ea). Motion to
approve by JP, seconded by JB. Need to determine if it can be found for a lesser
price.
PUBLICITY
BGFM will be mentioned in the Sun Times and on WBEZ
PUBLIC PORTION
1. There is a Fire Department Fund Raiser on 6/28
2. Questions re: Will the Food Festival Trucks be cleaned up and garbage emptied
for the FM the next morning? GS will look into it.
