8. Unfinished Business
RKCRD currently has 14 Commissioners. In order to be compliant with Illinois State law, a
quorum (minimum of 8 RKCRD Commissioners) must be physically present, for an entire
meeting. As per the Village of Buffalo Grove Ordinances, as it applies to this Commission,
RKCRD is required to meet no less than once a month.

• Potential new adaptive programs (Commissioner Jauregui)
o Gymnastics / cheer (Ongoing)
o Jiu Jitsu night (Single Event)
• Getting a clear vision for our committee. What is the mission of our
commission? (Commissioner Jauregui)
o August 5, 2024: Presentation starts at about 21:28 and the mission portion
begins at about 23:26.
