1988-11-07 - Resolution 1988-60 - APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT (CHATHAM LIONS PARK AND OUTLOT A IN CHATHAM UNIT NO. 2)'' rL/2/88 RESOLUTION NO. 88- r,o A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT (Chatham Lions Park and Outlot A in Chatham Unit No. 2) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is the owner of a certain parcel of real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and, IIHEREAS, the VilLage has no immediate use for said real property; and, I{HEREAS, the corporate authorities deen it to be in the public interest to have said property put to public use by deeding same to the Buffalo Grove Park District and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public; and, WEEREAS, the transferee municipality has by ordinance declared that it is necessary or convenient for it to use, occupy or improve said real estatei NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OE BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COTJNTIES, ILLINOIS: Section r:Pursuant to the authority granted to municipali- ties in Chapter 30, Sections 155 to 158(a) of the Illinois Revised Statutes, the President and CIerk of the Vi.Ilage of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to execute said deed to the Buffalo Grove Park District and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public, a copy of rrhich deed is attached as Exhibit "A". That said deed is subject to an easement retained by the ViIlage. Section 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by two-thirds of the trustees then holding office.
