1988-11-07 - Resolution 1988-58 - APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT (OUTLOTS B & C IN GREEN KNOLLS UNIT NO. 4 AND OUTLOTS D & E IN GREEN KNOLLS UNIT NO. 3)ttl2/88 RESOLUTION NO. 88- 58 A RESOLUTION APPROVING COWEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT(Outlots B and C in creen Knolls Unit No. 4 andoutlots D and E in Green Kno1ls unit No. 3) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo crove is the olrner of a certain parcel of real property described in Exhibit ',A,' attached hereto and made a part hereof; and, WHEREAS, the Village has no inrnediate use for said real property; and, WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the public interest to have said property put to public use by deeding same to the Buffalo Grove park District and their successors in office Eor the use and benefit of the public; and, WHEREAS, the transferee municipality has by ordinance declared that it is necessary or convenient for it to use, occupy or improve said real estate; NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TEE VILLAGE OE' BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: Section 1: Pursuant to the authority granted to municipali- ties in Chapter 30, Sections 156 to 158(a) of the Illinois Revised Statutes, the President and CIerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to execute said deed to the Buffalo crove Park District and their successors in office for the use and benefit of the public, a copy of $rhich deed is attached as Exhibit "A". Section 2: This Resolution shall be in fulI force and effect from and after its passage by two-thirds of the trustees then holding office.
