I{EEREAS, the village of Buffalo Grove entered into a certain
Annexation AgreeDent dated January 30, 1984 and recorded ag
document number 2273105 (Lake countyl and 27076765 (cook county)
and approved by the village by Ordinance No. 8{-10.
WEEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove in alleviating certain
conditions in the village desires to enter into a Iransfer
Agreement.
NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TgE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF TEE VILLAGE OF BUPFAI' GROVE, C@T AND LAI(E COT'NTIES,
ILLINOIS:
I. The Transfer Agreenent atbached hereto as Exhibit "A"
between the Village of Buffalo Grove and Chevy Chase Sewer and
water Company, Inc. be and hereby is approved and accePted.
2. The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign said Transfer Agreement.

Chasen ) .
The parties hereto in congideration of the following agree-
ments and other good and valuable consideration, do nutually
agree as foll.ows:
A. Chevy Chase Sewer and nater Conpany r Inc. hereby
transfers, assigns and conveys to the Vi11a9e of Buffalo Grove,
all its right, title and interest in and to the following:
1. That real property identified on that certain
warranty Deed, a copy of nhich is attached hereto and made a
part hereof as Exhibit "An. Said property is sometimes
referred to as the lfater WeII Bouse property and is further
identified as pernitnent inder number 15-35-300-157.
2. The raternain, naternain valves, fire hydrantEr and
service Iine shut-offs ({B-Boresn) as all instal}ed, as
identified on that PIan entitled "Colunbia Gardens - tlater
System" nhich is attached hereto and nade a Part hereof as
Exhibit nB", which Exhibit includes a lega1 description, and
sater 0eters as installed.
3. The sanitary serrers and nanholes identified on that
plan entitled "Colunbian Gardens - sewer System" which is
attached hereto and nade a part hereof as Exhibit "C", t hich
exhibit includes a legal description.
4. Any and all easenents which are reguired to
properly operate, maintain and repair the "Water System" and
"Sewer System", including but not by way of linitation,
those easenentg in which the '.Water System" and the 'Serer
Systen" are presently located on Exhibit "8" and Exhibit "C"
hereto.
5. Those easenents and rights to easements listed on
Exhibit "Dn hereto. 3

way purchasing or acquirlng Chevy Chase nater and Seser ComP.ny,
Inc. nor is the Village purchasing or agreelng to purchaae any
asseta, stock, llabilities, accounta receivable or any intanglble
peraonal property of Chevy Cha8e.
c. It is understood and agreed that the Village ig not
assuning any obligation of Chevy Chase to supply sater.or serrer
service to chevy Chaae cuatonerB, current or potential .
D. It is understood and agreed that the Village and Chevy
chase have entered into or are about to enter into an Improvenent
Agreement whereby Chevy Chase ie, anong other itens, planning on
demoliehing the well fron which it drass its eater to serve itE
customera and is not replacing same and denolishing its serrer
treatment facilities that treat the serrerage from its cuatomers
and not replacing sane.
E. It is understood and agreed that the Village does not
incur any of Chevy Chase's contractual obligations to provide
rrater and seirer service to Chevy Chase's customers, current or
potent ial .
F. this Agreetnent shall not take effect until after the
Vil1age, by formal action, accepts this Transfer Agreenent uncon-
di t ionally .

Annexation Agreement dated January 30. 1984 and recorded as
docunent number 2273105 (Lake County) and, 27076765 (Cook County)
and approved by the Viltage by Ordinance No. 84-IO.
I{BEREAS, the ViIlage of Buffalo crove io alleviatirg certain
conalitions in the Vi,L1a9e desires to enter into a Transfer
Agreeoent.
NOW, TBEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF TEE VILLAGE OF BUPPALO GROVE, COOI{ AND LAKE COUNTIES.
