extraneous florrs to be dlscharged into the sanltary sewersl and,
LIHEREAS, exlstlng Vlllage ordlnances prohtblt the dlscharge of
atorm rraters and other extraneous flows lnto the sanltary sewers and theVillage Board wlshes to reaffirn that such dlscharges into the sanl.tary sewerare prohlblted and are contrary to the best lnterests of the public,
NOII, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the presldent and Board ofTrustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Countl.es, Illlnols,as follows:
SECTION 1. A sewer rehabllltatlon program shall be lnstituted to
the extent not already completed, by the Vl1lage of Buffalo Grovefor the correctlon of exlstlng deflclencles ln order to achLeve
coopliance wlth Federal EPA grant requirenents and MSD
requlrements: The V11lage has authorized and dlrected the formula-tlon of the requlred prograns to carry out the lntent of thlssectLon. The Vlllage lntends to proceed lrith these cost effectlve
prograns upon recelpt of adequate grant funding assistance from
the State or Federal Government or other grant sources.
