PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Buffalo
Grove Plan Commission on Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council
Chambers, Buffalo Grove Municipal Building, 50 Raupp Boulevard, Buffalo Grove, IL
concerning the following matter:
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for amendment of a Special Use and
Preliminary Plan in the R-8 District with the following variations: ZONING ORDINACE —
Section 17.32.030.A. (to allow an accessory structure of approximately 21 feet in height instead
of 15 feet) and FENCE CODE — Section 15.20.040. (to allow an 8-foot high board-on-board
wood fence, instead of 6 feet in height).
The Village of Buffalo Grove proposes to construct a building addition (52 feet wide x 95 feet
long and 24 feet in height) at the northeast corner of the Public Works building in the current
location of the brick screen wall west of the security gate along Church Road, to construct a
materials storage structure on the east side of the Public Works operations yard and to construct a
wood screen fence along the west side of the operations yard in the front yard adjacent to Lake
Cook Road.

quarter of Section 5-42-11 in Cook County, Illinois.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The Village Public Works Service
Center, at the southeast corner of Church Road/Raupp Boulevard.
Documents concerning the proposed improvements to be presented at the public hearing are on
file with the Village Clerk and may be examined by any interested persons. Anyone with
