WHEREAS the Village of Buffalo crove is a Home Rule Unit pursuant to thelllinois Constitution of l97O; and
WHEREAS l39O Busch parkway, Buffalo Crove, lL (,,property,,) is located in amulti-tenant building at l3oo-]398 Busch parkway in the I tndustrial District and ishereinafter legally described in Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS Van Vlissingen and Company is the owner of the propert)4 and
wHEREAS on February iB, 2025, the Vi age Board approved ordinance No.
2O25-o25 granting a Special Use to allow a Child Care Center in the lndustrial District(l) to lnternational Mental School, LLC; and
WHEREAS rnternationar Mentar School, LLC has changed the name of thelimited liability company to tntellectum, LLC (,,petitioner,,); a;d
WHEREAS the conditions of approval in ordinance No. 2025-25 note that thespecial Use does not run with the rand and any change in ownership requiresapproval bythe Corporate Authorities; and
WHEREAS the petitioner is not proposing any other changes to the businessoperations from what was previously approved; and
WHEREAS the corporate Authorities of the Vilage of Buffaro crove herebydetermine and find that the requested amendment to the ordinance No.2025-25 toassign the Special Use for a child Care center to rntellectum, LLC is reasonable andwill serve the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS the proposed speciar Use shaU operate in accordance with andpursuant to allexhibits included in Ordinance No.2025-25.
NOW THEREFORE BE rr oRoATNED by the president and Board of Trustees of theVillage of Buffalo Crove, Cook and LaksCounties, lllinois, as follows:

1. The Special Use is granted to Intellectum, LLC to operate a Child Care Center at
l39O Busch Parkway, which shall not run with the land.
a. Upon application of a petitioner seeking assignment of this Special Use,
the Corporate Authorities, in their sole discretion, may refer said
application of assignment to the appropriate commission(s) for a public
hearing or may hold a public hearing at the Village Board.
b. Such assignment shall be valid only upon the adoption of a proper, valid
and binding ordinance by the Corporate Authorities granting said
assignment, which may be granted or denied for any reason.
SECTION 3. lf any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Ordinance shall be
held invalid, the invalidity thereof shall not affect any other provision of this
Ord inance.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fr om and after its passage
and approval and shall not be codified.

Busch Parkway, Buffalo Crove, lL, subject to the following conditions:
