A RESOLUTION APPROVING A LETTER AGREEMENT MODIFYING THE "WELL NO.7
ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT" DATED APRIL 7,1980
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Buffalo Grove approved the "Well No.7 Engineering Services Agreement" at
a meeting held April 7, 1980, and;
WHEREAS, it is deemed desirable to revise the basis of payment
for the engineering fee for the preparation of designs, construction draw-
ings, specifications , and other contract documents to a cost-plus/fixed
fee with a ceiling basis of payment in lieu of a lump-sum basis of pay-
ment, and;
WHEREAS, approval of an amendment to the April 7, 1980 "Well No.7
Engineering Services Agreement" is necessary to accommodate this revised
basis of payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois
that the Letter Agreement dated October 1 , 1980 with a noted subject of
"Well No.7, Engineering Services Agreement" is hereby approved and the
Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Letter
Agreement on behalf of the Village.
