A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF REAL
PROPERTY TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT #96
(Villas of Buffalo Creek, Unit 1)
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is the owner of a certain
parcel of real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the Village has no immediate use for said real property,
and;
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the public in-
terest to have said property be put to public use by deeding same to
the Regional Board of School Trustees of Lake County and their success-
ors in office for the use and benefit of Elementary School District
#96 of Lake County, Illinois, with the reservation that if said real
property ceases to be used for school purposes, then said real pro-
perty will revert to the Village; and
WHEREAS , the transferee municipality has by ordinance declared that
it is necessary or convenient for it to use, occupy or improve said
real estate.
It is hereby resolved by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties , Illinois :
SECTION 1: Pursuant to the authority granted to municipalities in
Chapter 30, Sections 156 to 158(a) of the Illinois Revised Statutes,
the President and Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove are hereby
authorized and directed to execute said deed, to the Regional Board of
School Trustees of Lake County and their successors in office for the
use and benefit of Elementary School District #96 of Lake County, Illi-
nois, a copy of which deed is attached as Exhibit"A".
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, by the vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the
Trustees then holding office and approval according to law.
