RESOLUTION NO. 79- 3q
CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE TO BUFFALO
GROVE PARK DISTRICT (CROSSINGS UNIT 3
LOT A)
WHEREAS, the Buffalo Grove Park District is a municipal
corporation organized for the purpose of owning and operating
park and recreational facilities; and
WHEREAS, the said District has represented that more land
is needed for park and recreational facilities and that it will
improve the land described herein and use it for park and recre-
ational purposes if said land is conveyed to it; and
WHEREAS, the Village considers that it is to the best
interest of the public to convey the property described herein
to the Park District for park and recreational facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove, pursuant to the
provisions of "An Act in Relation to the Transfer of Real Estate
Owned by Municipalities" , Chapter 10, Paragraphs 156-158a,
Illinois Revised Statutes 1969, is desirous of effecting a
transfer subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND
LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. The President and Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a deed conveying the following described
real estate to the Buffalo Grove Park District, subject to the
stipulation and conditions herein set forth:
Lot "A" in the Crossings, Unit Three, a subdivision
in the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 30,
Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Princ-
ipal. Meridian, Lake County, Illinois.

Section 2. The deed shall contain the following reverter
clause; "In the event the property herein described is not
used by the Grantee for park and/or recreational purposes,
title and possession shall revert to the Grantor. "
Section 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
