The Village of Buffalo Grove supports the efforts of the Lake County Forest Preserve District to acquire land adjacent to the existing forest preserve. SECTION 2. The Village of Buffalo Grove recognizes that if the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago favorably considered the request of landowners to extend its boundaries and serve this property with sanitary sewer services for purposes of land development, that this action would conflict with the Lake County Forest Preserve District's efforts to acquire said property and not serve the public interest to its fullest extent.
