1978-08-07 - Resolution 1978-29 - Approving Conveyance of REal Property to Buffalo Grove Park District (Camelot-3/4 acre) RESOLUTION NO. 78- A RESOLUTION APPROVING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY TO BUFFALO GROVE PARK DISTRICT (Camelot - 3/4 acre) WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove is the owner of a certain parcel of real property described herein, and; WHEREAS, the Village has no immediate use for said real property, and; WHEREAS, the corporate authorities deem it to be in the public in- terest to have said property be put to public use by deeding same to the Buffalo Grove Park District, with the reservation that if said real property ceases to be used for park and/or recreational purposes , then said real property will revert to the Village, and; WHEREAS, the transferee municipality has by ordinance declared that it is necessary or convenient for it to use, occupy or improve said real estate. It is hereby resolved by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, Cook and Lake Counties , Illinois; SECTION 1. Pursuant to the authority granted to Municipalities in Chapter 30, Sections 156 to 158(a) of the Illinois Revised Statutes , the President and Clerk of the Village of Buffalo Grove are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Warranty Deed, to the Buffalo Grove Park District, a copy of which deed is attached as Exhibit "A" and legally described as follows : Lot 23 in Block 8 in Camelot of Buffalo Grove, Unit Two, a Subdivision of part of the Southeast quarter the Northeast quarter and the Northwest quarter of Section 29 , Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to the plat of said subdivision recorded August 30, 1976, as Docu- ment #1788793 in Book 56 of Plats , Page 41, and cor- rected by Certificates recorded as Documents 1806247 and 1829595, in Lake County, Illinois . SECTION 2. The deed shall contain the following Reverter Clause: "In the event the said real estate is not used by the Grantee for park and/or recreational purposes for a period in excess of six months, title and possession shall revert to the Grantor." SECTION 3. The deed shall contain the following: Subject to : 1. Covenants and conditions and restrictions of record 2. Real estate taxes for years 1977 and 1978. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from 11,11=0, -�, -l- and after its passage and approval according to the law.
