RESOLUTION NO. 78- 11
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EASEMENTS
(GREEN KNOLLS)
WHEREAS, it is necessary that utility easements be given
to ILLINOIS BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY and COMMONWEALTH EDISON COMPANY
as part of the overall plan of the Green Knolls Subdivision and
related areas .
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove , Cook and Lake Counties ,
Illinois , that the President and Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute utility easements , true and correct copies of which are
attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A" .

111 good and valuable consideration, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, the undersigned grantors hereby grant and convey to ILLINOIS
BELL TELEPHONE COMPANY and COMMONWEALTH EDISON COMPANY, their successors
and assigns, the right to construct, reconstruct, add to, remove, operate
and maintain communication and electric systems consisting of such underground
wires, cables, conduits, terminals, manholes and other fixtures as the
grantee may from time to time require for the purpose of tele-communications
• and for transmission of heat, light and power.by electricity, together
•
with the right of access to the same, in the easements described herein
• to wit:
A strip of land Ten (10) feet in width, adjacent to, parallel
with and lying West of the East line of Lot 107, if extended
North, and being located in Out Lot "A", and; ALSO the South
• Ten (10) feet of the West Ten (10) feet of said Out Lot "A";
all being located in Green Knolls, Unit No. 1, being a subdivision
in the East 11 of Section 29, Township 43 North', Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, in Lake County. Illinois.
• ALSO
A strip of land Ten (10) feet in width, adjacent to, parallel with
and lying Southeasterly of a line described as follows; beginning
at the Northeast corner of Lot 217 and extending in a Northeasterly
direction to the point of intersection between the Southwesterly
line and the West line of Lot 218, said strip being located in
Out Lot "F", and, ALSO a strip of land Ten (10) feet in width,
adjacent to, parallel with and lying Southerly of a line described
as follows; beginning at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 256 and
extending in a Easterly direction, to the Northwesterly corner of
Lot 255, said strip being located in Out Lot "D", and; ALSO the
North Fifteen (15) feet of Out Lot "E"; all being located in Green
molls, Unit 3, being a subdivision in the East 1 of Section 29,
Township 43 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Lake County, Illinois, and;
ALSO -

A strip of land Ten (10) feet in width adjacent to, parallel with
and lying West of the East line of Lot 61, if extended North, and
being located in Out Lot "B" in Green Knolls, Unit No. 4, being a
• subdivision in the East 35 of Section 29, Township 43 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Lake County, Illinois.

The said Companies shall be responsible for damage caused to the
Village's property by their Companies, their agents and employees and shall
repair and restore the premises and pay for any damage following construction
and maintenance work. Further, the right of the Village to freely use and
enjoy their interests in the premises is reserved to them, their successors,
and assigns insofar as the exercise thereof does not endanger or interfere
with the construction, operation, and maintenance of said communication
or electric systems, including without limiting g'.terality of this reservation,
the 'Olt to establish roadways and utili' lines across said easement,
r exclifethat no building or structure shale erected within the easement
,--and right of way without the consent of said Companies.
