RESOLUTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER THE ILLINOIS HIGHWAY CODE BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Council or President and Board of Trustees Village of Buffalo Grove _, Illinois City.Town.or Village that the following described street(s) be improved under the Illinois Highway Code: Arterial Name of Thoroughfare Street or From To Route Arlington Heights Road Art Street Lake/Cook County Line Ill. Rt. 83 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, 1. That the proposed improvement consist of the preparation of a combined location and design report including an environmental impact statement construction _ feet wide and shall be designated as Section_ 76-00011-00ES C.S. 2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00 ) for the improvement of said section from the municipality's allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds. 3. That said work shall be done by_ Contract ; and, (Specify Contract or Day Labor) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is hereby directed to transmit two certified copies of this resolution to the Department of Public Works and Buildings, Division of Highways, through its District Engineer. 'I li If Lake County CETA Program The Board reviewed a letter from Lake County CETA, dated December 24, 1975, and E a memo from Police Chief Walsh, dated December 31 , 1975, regarding the possibility of having a General Service Officer fully funded through June, 1976, by the Lake County CETA program. I. { Moved by Rech, seconded by Marienthal to authorize execution of the Outstation User ' Agreement with Lake County (CETA) Program and Sub-Grantee Agreement subject to = review of the Village Attorney. Upon roll call , the vote was: i' {'. AYES: 6 - Mahoney, Rech, Driscoll , Bogart , Carroll , Marienthal NAYES; 0 - None i Motion declared carried. 1 is Administrative Order #14=' ' The Board reviewed Administrative Order #14/regarding a commendation policy for the Village. After discussion, the following changes were made: !} 1 . First section - number of years of service was changed to eight years. 2. Commendations to citizens and/or employees recommended by member of Village Board, Village Manager, or Department Head. 'I 3. Value of gift not to exceed $100. 4 /9 44. Hetlinger Service Station The Board reviewed the request of Edwin J. Matus, dated December 22, 1975, to develop property located on Route 83 at Buffalo Grove Road as a convenience shopping center. Moved by Bogart , seconded by Carroll to refer the request to the Plan Commission and Appearance Control Commission for the necessary reviews and recommendations. Upon voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.
