1969-07-14 - Resolution 1969-09 - Deed of Conveyance of land for school purposes VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE RESOLUTION #R-69-9 WHEREAS, the Village of Buffalo Grove did acquire the following described land with the intent that it be used for school purposes and has held title to said land until the Community Consolidated School District No. 21, submitted its plans for the construction of the James F. Cooper Junior High School, AND WHEREAS, the school is now in the planning stage and it is in order for the Village to convey title to facilitate preparation of the land site for building purposes, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Buffalo Grove, that the Village by its President and Clerk execute a deed to the pro- per trustees of Community Consolidated School District No. 21, Cook County, Illinois, subject to the payment by the District of all current taxes and provided further that the deed of conveyance stipulate that there shall be a reconveyance if at any time the land is not used for school purposes for a period of three years pursuant to Chapter 24, Section 11-78-2, 1967 Illinois Revised Statutes. The legal description of the land conveyed is as follows: The south 300 feet of Lot "C" in Strathmore in Buffalo Grove Unit 1, being a resubdivision of certain lots and vacated streets in Arlington Hills in Buffalo Grove, being a subdivision in sections 5 and 6 and of sundry tracts of land in the west half of said section 5, all in township 42, north, range 11, east of the third principal meridian in Cook County, Illinois.
