I move we accept the plans for the Buffalo Grove Youth Center,
as presented here tonight, with the stipulations that were
discussed and agreed upon, those being:
a) The Building was designed to match the existing
Village Hall with pitched roof, bricks the same,
shingles the same.
• b) Landscaping shall include low lying shrubbery on
each side wrapped around to the front; 10-12
Green Ash Trees in a U-shape in front and down
side . Hopefully the trees will be 8-12 ft . trees
donated.
c) Parking Lotwill be 3-3 feet from the curb to the
front of the building. •
d)Pr®vision for a bicycle rack on the asphalt parking
lot in front of building.
e1 All activities will be inside the building.
f) Facia and soffet painted out. the color of roof.
g) Vents painted out the color of roof.
h) Lights at the double entry door and at the 4 corners.
i) Sign - One sign over door - "Buffalo Grove Youth
Center" Mr. Mayfield agreed to return to the ACC
for review and approval of sign.
h) They will seek some larger evergreens to plant on
the sides of the building to break up the space,
since the windows have been deleted because of the

Savings & Loan Assn. Architecture; Landscaping and Lighting,as
presented with the following stipulations:
a) Night Depository is to be a duronodic color if
possible , or painted out to match the building.
b) Roof fixtures are to be screened painted out to
match roof.

An amendment to the motion was made by Commissioner Kirby.
I move we stipulate that the night depository not to be

for Highland Grove, Unit # III as regards species and variety
of tree and location, with the folloving stipulation:-
a) Norway Maple be of the Emerald Queen Veriety
b) Red Maple be of the Red Sunset Variety
c) Sugar Maple - OUT and the Green Ash Substituted
d) Honey Locust be of the Skyline or Shademaster Variety
e) Littleleaf Linded be of the Greenspire Variety
as noted in the comments of the Consulting Forester as per the•
report of the Forested dated June 30, 1978. The planting operation
shall be performed according to the requirements of the American
Standard for Nursery Stocks (?) . Per the Red Sunset Maple, it
• shall be planted in the Spring. Any substitution that has to be
made at the time of planting must be made in conjuction with the
