sold this sping and Ms . Rhodes is the new property

shopping center to attract new business by changing
the facade and constructing a new ground sign. The
center was about 40% occupied when they assumed
management and they have some new tenants .
Ms. Nyman described the proposed alerations . They
plan to remove the existing band of wood cedar
shingles and replace them with white drivit material
with projecting teal drivit accents that match the
awnings . The accents project approximately three
inches (3" ) and have a three inch (3" ) top that will
be slanted toward the building to prevent water
streaks on the front . The basic structure will not be
changed.
There is a slope at the northeast corner to add visual
appeal . It wraps around the corner and there are
trapazoid shaped openings to prevent snow and leaf
buildup and wind load.
The wall signs are illuminated with eggcrate flores-
cent lights under the existing overhang. Nothina
above the sign area will be altered.
Ms . Rhodes said some new tenants have requested better
signs, so they may submit a new sign criteria at a
later date that will permit iluminated signs .
