B. Buffalo Grove J 4ness Park - Full Review
Building No. 9 - Hamilton Partners
Presentation was made by Mike Rolfs, Hamilton Partners,
1130 Lake/Cook Road, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089.
Building No. 9 will be located on the last parcel to be
developed in the Buffalo Grove Business Park. It is
adjacent to the Buffalo Grove Golf Course and East of
Zierk's Furniture Store on Lake Cook Road. It will be a
one-story 18,000 square foot office building.
1 . ARCHITECTURE AND MATERIALS:
Host of the materials are consistent with the rest of
the Business Park. The same brown brick and dark
bronze mullions with tinted bronze glass will be
used. HVAC units will be screened with dark bronze.
The entry doors with metal roofs at the four corners
of the building will match Zierk's Furniture Store.
Com. Silbernik made a motion to approve the Architecture
and Materials as submitted by Hamilton Partners for the
B.G. Bus. Pk. Office Bldg. No. 9 on Lake/Cook Road, East
of Zierk's Furniture Store.
Can. Bremner seconded the motion.
Ch. Larsen questioned the location of the Dumpster
because it is so close to Lake/Cook Road.
Mr. Rolfs explained that the site was extremely difficult
to work with when designing the circulation drive and the
parking area. The Dumpster has been located at a good
access point for the garbage trucks to maneuver. It will
be a brick enclosure with a swinging gate and it will be
screened with a landscaped berm.
Mr. Rolfs noted that the landscape plan calls for 8 foot
evergreens for year around screening.
Roll Call Vote: AYE - Gordon, Bruno, Bremner,
Silbernik, Weissman and Larsen

There will be a timber retaining wall on the North
side, similar to the one at Federal Express.
