Changes in the Master Plan. Mr. Shafer discussed allthe changes to be put into the Master Plan. The changes ere.ie Page 3. Last para. first sentence.. To read-I 1958 the total twenty-four hour traffic countby the Sate Highway Dept. on Buffalo Grove Road north of Dundee Road was 750 cars. Page 8. Addition of and elimination of certain sentences The nearest railroad transportation facility, furnished by the Chicago and North Western Railway is located in the Village of Arlington Heights, which is less than six miles to the south, via Arlington Heights Regd. Second Paragraph change driving time from O'Hara Field from 45 minutes to less than 30 minutes.. Addition of following paragraph Pal-Waukee Airport, located less than six miles southeast of Buffalo Grove on Routes 45-21 (Milwaukee Ave) . provides facilities for small plane, s comparable to aircraft used by businessmen and industrialists in conjunction with their businesses. The availability of such a near-by facility could be a point used in trying to encourage industry into the community. r - 2. Page 21. hst para. change six acres to 7.2 acres. Page 44. The Plan Commission Chairman asked Mr. Shafer to make all �./ necilassary changes, to be sent to him as sons as possible. dr. Shafer asked if possible for Plan Commission to insert changes into Plan. 6. Report on Street Lighting. A report was made by A. Stasal on additional lighting 3 plans were dicussed. A, Stasal and C. Wilhelm will make a survey on public opinion for additional lights where needed 7. No report from G, Krug on ordinances 8. No report from K. Lewis on Arohitectual review.
