October 18th,1961 the Buffalo Grove Plan commission attended a meeting
with the Wheeling Plan commission and District 21 School Board. Also
there was Mr Ken Gill District 21 School Supt.
The matter discussed was the need for industry and business in -the
school district.The school district tax derived from a $30.000 home
will finance 1 child to 1 year in school.
The Buffalo Grove Plan Commission will be meeting again with these
groups to discuss the matter further.
A Public hearing was held October 26th,1961 regarding recl:esificati n
of a certain property from B3 (commercial) to special use.
The change is to permit proposed use by the Buffalo Utility Copany
for a Water Pumping Station, Water Reservoir and Well .
The petitioners presented their case for reclasifing. No Person in
attendance raised any objections .
The Plan Commission is taking the matter under concil and study. A
recomendation will be given the Village Board as soon as possible.
The regular meeting of the Buffalo Grove Plan Commission was held
after the public hearing. Me Mooser and. Mr McCabe were present.
We discussed a sketch of unit seven. The sketch seemed to comply
with the Village master plan and the Plan Commission suggested to
Mr Mooser that he submit a prelim plan for study and review to the
Viila; e Board.
The commission received three bids for son suiting services fran City
Planners. One from Evert Kincaid and Associates, one from Baughman
and Associates and one from Carl L. Gardner & Associates. These bids
are being studied by commission members abd a recomendation will
be forthcomming.
