1969-03-05 - Plan Commission - Minutes PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES PUBLIC HEARING March 5, 1969 Present: E. Fabish J. Guidotti H. Cimaglio M. Krugly R. Brown R. Knoeppel (architecht) Absent: N. Kortus T. Finnegan R. Axen C. Giebelhausen The Public Hearing commenced at 8:03 p.m. Applicant and Owner - The Arlington Heights Country Club Subject: Petition for annexation and zoning to permit multi- family dwelling units. Area in question is divided into parcels A and B. Parcel B is located on the north side of Dundee Road, about 1400 feet east of Buffalo Grove Road and has 1,025 feet of frontage on Dundee Road and is 250 feet in depth. Parcel A is the remainder of the area that comprises the Arlington Heights Country Club. The petitioners were not present, as they have changed their plat and requested the hearing be postponed to April 16, 1969. H. Cimaglio moved to adjourn the Public Hearing to 8:00 p.m. April 16, 1969. J. Guidotti seconded. All in favor. Krugly R. Brown R. Knoeppel (architecht) Absent: N. Kortus T. Finnegan R. Axen C. Giebelhausen (present after 9 p.m. ) The Regular Meeting was called to order at 8:21 p.m. J. Guidotti moved to accept the minutes of the Plan Commission Meeting of February 19, 1969. R. Brown seconded. All in favor. A copy of a Monotony Ordinance will be received and reviewed at the next Plan Commission meeting. Talk on the Trailer Ordinance is again tabled to the next meeting to await a report by N. Kortus. The Street Names Subcommittee reported that two names contemplated in the Levitt Subdivision are similar to what is already in existance. A fuller report is to be given at the next meeting. M. Krugly moved to recommend approval of street names requested by Levitt and Sons with the exception of Cambridge Court and Paxton Court. R. Brown seconded. All in favor. Copies of the Sign Ordinance were passed out to all members to be read and discussed at the next meeting. R. Brown moved to recommend to the Village Board that all requests for signs be submitted to the Plan Commission until a study of the sign ordinance is completed. H. Cimaglio seconded. All in favor. In conjunction with the Plan Commission intention to up-date the zoning ordinance, it was requested that all members study Article 12, Manufacturing Districts, of the Zoning Ordinance of 1961 and be ready for discussion at the next meeting. J. Guidotti requested a copy of the Village Ordinance that set up the Plan Commission for study by the By-law Committee. M. Krugly moved to adjourn. J. Guidotti seconded. All in favor.
