Absent: T. Finnegan
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 p.m.
J. Guidotti moved to accept the Public Hearing minutes and the Regular
Meeting minutes of March 5, 1969. M. Krugly seconded. All in favor.
E. Fabish read Section 23-203 of the Arlington Heights Village Code,
which concerned repitition of design (Monotony Ordinance) . Copies
are to be made for the next meeting.
N. Kortus stated that all villages that he checked with are in the
process of revising their trailer ordinances. He has asked that the
villages send copies of their revisions to the Buffalo Grove Plan
Commission when they are up dated. The Village Engineers passed out
copies of their recommendations to each member of the Commission.
The Plan Commission members are requested to study recommendations
and comparative ordinances for discussion at the next meeting.
The Village Engineers passed out their recommendations for revision
of Article 10 of the Buffalo Grove Zoning Ordinance. These recommen-
dations were discussed. All members are requested to review the
recommendations for discussion at the next meeting.
The sub-committee on street names stated the need for changing some
street names or numbering systems or both. It was asked that E. Fabish
receive a straw vote of the Village Trustees as to which method of
study should be continued.
The first ten pages of the sign ordinance were discussed with correc-
tions and additions noted. The remainder of the sign ordinance is to
be discussed at the next meeting.
Two ordinances were received by the Committee on Plan Commission
Procedures. They seem to be very divergent in thought, and more
study is recommended.
H. Cimaglio moved to adjourn. M. Krugly seconded. All in favor.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Henry Cimaglio
