Haarr r H . Mendenhall B. Berth The meeting was called to Order at 8:07 p.m. , on November 195 1969. It was noted that Larry Garman was at,tendi_. his first meeting as a prospective member of the Planning Commiaion. Bud Berth moved that the minutes of October 22, 1969 be approved with no corrections. Stan Eaarr seconded. Motion carried. The following corrections were noted as to the minutes of : ovc for 5, 1969. Paragraph three on page one, the word ac- quired was changed to required. Through out those minutes, the spelling ^ e '� t and T:Te een was changed Babyar was corrected to Bub�a-r:� �.�id.._.or to Weidner. Don Zitzewitz moved that the minutes of 12Tovember 5, 1969 be approved and corrected. John Guidotti seconded and the Motion carried. It was noted that the Board of Trustees had approved the Plan Commissions proposal to rezone all multiple zoning areas in the Village, R-9 and R-7 areas, to single family dwellings In those areas in which in fact single family dwelling structure had been erected. The matter was tabled to further discussion at a later date. There followed a di� cus;ion as to the requirements of land donations in sub divisions . It was pointed out that our sub- division regulations seem to include residential and commercial properties within the land donations requirements. Mr. Bob Kent of Colandaq appeared and presented for Plan Commission approval the final plans for his project covering the South East Corner of Arlington and Lake Cook Roads. 1r. ` Kent indicated that he wanted to erect the 7-11 immediately and the rest later. He indicated that Standard Oil Com zany would probably start erection of a Standard Oil Gas Station on that corner the first of the year, if the approval was granted. He indicated that the rest of the shopping area would be built within about two years. Donald Zitzewitz moved that the Plan Commission approve the final Plan of the Colandaq development if f PAGE ( 2 ) 7-11 portion of Colandac, on the Southeast Corner of Arlington Heights Road and Lake Cook��Road subject to approval by Vil?ag gineei ing and Village Fire Department and receipt of written approval of Road access from Lake Cook Road to the shopping area sad written approval to come form the highway department. . .-� ,Lotion was seconded by Bud Berth. On roll call vote, Ctan _I aarr and Howard Mendenhall abstained, the rest voted yes. The motion carried. There following a discussion of the necessity for funding the Plan Commission in the 1970 budget to provide the Planning Commission with a Planning Consultant. The Planning Commission then discussed that land outside the Village currently lying along Route 83as to what the best use of that land would be. Michael Krugly announced that his Commission would expire on December 2, 1969. He stated that currently he did not be- lieve that he would be able to maintain his membership on the Plan Cf::immission and that it would be necessary to appoint a now Chairman. John Guidotti moved that Wallace E. Berth be apointed temporary Chairman of the planning Commission. Merrill Hoyt seconded and the Motion carried unanimously carried.
