BUFFALO GROVE PLAN COMMISSION
WORKSHOP SESSION
FEBRUARY 14, 1973
Chairman, Carl Genrich, called the workshop session to order at
8: 15 P.M. , February 14, 1973.

Commissioners Absent: Mr. Haarr Mr. VanHoorebeke
Mr. Yost
Also present was Mr. Howard Kiester, prospective member.
Dominion Property
The Commission reviewed the preliminary site plans as prepared
by the Marathon Oil Company for the Dominion property, with Al
Foss the Developer. The Commission told Mr. Foss that this
project does come under the Subdivision Control Ordinance in
that it is a subdivision. He agreed to meet with his Engineer
this week and will meet the Final Plan requirements for Phase
One (Marathon Station) of the Dominion Development. He intends
to meet with the Commission at the regular meeting next Wednes-
day (February 21) and will bring 15 copies of the necessary
Engineering Documents as required on pages 15-17 of the Subdivi-
sion Control Ordinance. . The Commission agreed to consider his
plans next week (waiving the 10-day requirement) .
Levitt Property - Koelper-DeMuth Parcel
Mr. Ken Campbell, Engineer for Levitt, met with the Commission
and outlined the new plan as now being proposed. Considerable
discussion of this plan ensued. Attached to these minutes is a
copy of the report to the Village Board clarifying the Plan
Commission' s final recommendations on this plan.
Commissioner Rech
The Plan Commission took under consideration, the participation
on the Plan Commission by Clarice Rech during the period until
the Village Election. Mrs . Rech indicated to the Commissioners
in attendance, that there are a number of valid reasons why she
feels she can continue to make a contribution to the work of the
Commission without being detrimental to the Commission in any way.
The Commission agreed that they did not see, at this time, any
valid reasons to request that she resign or ask for a leave of
absence from the Commission.
Meeting was adjourned at 10 : 40 P.M.
