AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING TERRITORY LOCATED AT 15989 AND 16051 DEERFIELD PARKWAY,
BUFFALO GROVE, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS,the Village of Buffalo Grove is a Home Rule Unit by virtue of the Illinois Constitution of
1970; and,
WHEREAS, on January 18, 2022, the Village Board approved Ordinance 2022-10 approving an
Annexation Agreement("Agreement")for the redevelopment of the Property located at 15989 and 16051
Deerfield Parkway described on Exhibit A("Property"); and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance 2022-11,the Property has been duly annexed by and is within
the corporate limits of the Village of Buffalo Grove; and,
WHEREAS,the annexation of said Property was predicated on it being purchased from Petitioner
by MZ Capital Acquisitions, LLC, ("Developer") and being developed by Developer pursuant to plans
presented to and approved by the Village of Buffalo Grove in the Agreement; and,
WHEREAS, the Property was never purchased by Developer, and the contract to purchase said
Property has been terminated; and,
WHEREAS, the owner of record of the Property has submitted a Petition, attached at Exhibit B
("Petition") requesting that the Property be disconnected from the Village of Buffalo Grove; and,
WHEREAS, it is determined to be in the best interest of the Vi�lage of Buffalo Grove to approve
the Petition and disconnection of the Property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF BUFFALO GROVE, COOK AND LAKE COUNTIES, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. The Petition, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit B, is
accepted and the Property shall be disconnected from the Village of Buffalo Grove.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
This Ordinance shall not be codified.

DISCONNECTION PETITION
NOW COMES, the undersigned Petitioner and requests the disconnectian of the territory hereinafter
described from the Village of Buffalo Grove, Lake County, Illinois. In support of said Petition, Petitioner
respectfully state as follows:
1.The undersigned is the owner of record of all of the land within the territory
described on Exhibit"A"attached hereto and specifically incorporated by reference herein.
2. Said territory has been duly annexed by and is within the corporate limits of the Village of
Buffalo Grove.
3. The annexation of said territory was predicated on it being purchased from Petitioner by MZ
Capital Acquisitions,LLC,("Developer")and being devel�ped by Developer pursuant to plans presented to
and approved by the Village of Buffalo Grove.
4. Said territory was never purchased by Developer, and the contract to purchase said territory
has been terminated.
5.The undersigned as such owner of record of the described territory hereby petitions that said
territory be disconnected from the Village of Buffalo Grove.
