but if you can get less items we can put them in some bags. Should cycle bags
approximately every 2 yrs.

until after noon in order to allow Fun and Food to clear out.
BG Singers are going to sell lemonade at Buddy Baseball and all proceeds go to Make
a Wish Foundation.
Lil' Obie Train is a scale model of a CN locomotive that educates kids about dangers
of playing by railroad track. Will make appearances at events across the country. Need
to figure out if it is wheelchair accessible.
Dean is asking his friend to do the music for Buddy Baseball and whether there is a
cost.
There will be handicap parking in or by the Fitness Center parking lot but the Fitness
Center will be open so until it closes for the day people cannot park in that lot.

Wait for Commissioner Miller-Brown until we break into sub-committees as she is the
Chair of her committee.
Discussion as to other items to brand with our logo other than bookmarks.
Shopping Center parking lot assessments are going to be turned into Brian Sheehan
and he will come and talk to us about it.
The Park District is doing an Arts and Crafts Fair at the Community Arts Center.
Commissioner Sussman went to the bowling alley on Saturday night and it was
crowded with a lot of parties. They gave us a list of pricing for Kid's Parties but we
want to see if we can get some better pricing. Looking at 30 or so kids. Commissioner
Sabath will follow up with bowling alley. Need to figure out if have bumpers and ramps.
Can have it coincide with Halloween and have them dress up in costumes. Limit it to
BG kids and promote it in the newsletter.
Discussion as to whether we want to push forward with this initiative and feeling
is that we should do more for the adults and perpetuate and last longer to
benefit more people.
ould like better brochures to show who we are and what we do.
' Agreement to not push forward with bowling due to limitations with its reach and
sustainability.
Discussion as to initiatives to raise awareness and how to spend money allocated to
CRD. Hesitant to spend money on a singular event which is not sustaining and would
rather put funds towards something which would create benefit for more residents.
Generate decals for businesses to show they are friendly to disabled. Also, possibly do
a community service award.
Discussion as to once we reach out to the community what do we want to convey to
them as to our services or what we can do for the community.
jooe Discussion as to possibly offering lending library for people who have temporary
disability but issue with cleaning it and staffing. Vernon Township offers this and so
does Palatine's Nurses Clubs.
There is a $2,500 Rotary Grant which we may want to apply for.

Trustee Ti—ein's son is working on an Eagle Scout project where he is collecting
