Chairman's Report: Paulette Greenberg/JV Springman
Paulette gave a history of Buffalo Grove Days. She included what responsibilities have
belonged to the committee in the past up through last year. She reviewed what
responsibilities have been transferred over to the Park District. This includes all events
except for the Parade, the Car Show and the BBQ Challenge. The committee retains the
Info Booth.
Police: Robert Broussard/Tara Anderson/Frank Horbus
Tara stated that they all value the committee members. Just because of the reorganization,
does not mean the committee members are not valued.
Tara stated that this year, there will be 3 liaisons, including Frank Horbus as the third
addition.
Parade: Rodney Odelson/Ken Lazar
Rodney stated that in each of the last 4+years, he has had a budget of$9000. He stated
that he has been way under budget each year. Mike stated that Rodney bought in more
money than he thought, charging businesses and politicians for entries in the parade. Mike
stated that there is $2000 budgeted by the village which is the amount the Park District
anticipates Rodney taking in for fees. JV discussed that Rodney will need to know, in
advance, how much money he has to spend on the parade. He cannot plan the parade using
money from anticipated fees.
Mike will have a conversation with Erika about increasing the parade money.

the revenue from the Arts and Craft Fair. Mike stated that Brad is very involved.
Kids Craft Tent: Park District
Grilling Challenge: Jackie Beegun
Jackie will see what the committee decides.
Paulette is unsure about this event with the significant increase in the price of meat.

description. He also discussed the personal equipment they frequently supply when
needed for acts or events.

Car Show: Cody and Diane Bartlett
Due to personal issues, Diane and Cody would be unable to give the car show our full
