JV stated that the Carnival has been placed in front of the baseball fields. Those fields will
be fenced off with no one allowed on the fields during the festival due to the sprinklers.
On the east side of the spray park will be the location of the fire department, the police
department and Mobile Com. Bill Heider states that the spray park will be closed for the
duration of the festival.
There are port a potties at the east end of the Carnival and the west end of the Food Tent.
The new trailer bathrooms are placed between the Food Tent and the Carnival.
Along the front curb of the spray park will be the Arts and Crafts area along with the not-
for-profits. The Business Fair will be on the grass area in front of the spray park. There
will be 21 booths.
The Beer Tent will be in the grass area to the side of the Main Stage field. The Beer Tent
will be l '/2 times the size it was last year.
The Food Tent will be on the northwest end of the same lot with the Arts and Crafts. The
booths with cooking will be on the Route 83 side with an access emergency lane behind the
booths. This is the area for restaurants to park temporarily to drop off supplies and food.
The large field between the Food Tent and the health club is the field for entertainment. It
is 2 '/z times the size of St. Mary's field. The Main Stage will be set up to point out
towards the woods to lessen the noise of area homes as much as possible.
The BBQ Challenge will be located beyond the Beer Tent.
The Info booth will be at the corner of the lot with the Food Tent and the road running
from Deerfield Parkway and Route 83 on the northwest corner. It will be located next to
the gravel area with the storage trailer behind the tent.
The Kids Craft Tent and the Kids Entertainment will be next to the Info Booth. All the
booths will face the Food Tent.
The traffic pattern will direct traffic entering off of Deerfield Parkway and exiting to the
right onto Route 83. Left turns will not be allowed.
JV states that the softball game will be at the new location of the festival. JV was unsure
which field they would be playing on.
JV stated that he will be gone from Saturday afternoon through Monday afternoon. His
phone will be off to attend his daughter's wedding. Don't call him. Paulette stated that
Eric and Alan D have agreed to help out while JV is gone.
JV thanked Paulette for all the work and sweat she has put into the festival to make him
look good. He said that she is the heart and brains of the festival.
JV thanked everyone, again, for all their hard work.
