Commissioner Hartman as acting secretary called the roll and noted for the record that a quorum was present ot the meeting. Present were Acting Chairman Kulwin, Commissioners Johnson, Rubin and Hartman. Commissioner Dibbern was not in attendance. Also in attendance were Fire Chief Baker , Deputy Fire Chief Wagner, Police ChiefCaeetmvmne. [}apub/ Police Chief Eioanmgngerand HR Director M8|innvvGhi. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: There were no minutes toapprove. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT: None COMMISSIONER'S REPORTS: None CHIEF AND TRUSTEE REPORTS: None QUESTIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE: None SPECIAL BUSINESS: None OLD BUSINESS: None EXECUTIVE SESSION: A. A motion was made at 6:31 p.m. by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Rubin, to move to Executive Session to discuss Section 2(C)(21) of the Illinois Open Meetings Act: Discussion of Minutes of Meetings Lawfully Closed Under This A/t, Whether for Purposes of Approval by the Body of the Minutes or Semi-Annual Review of the Minutes as Mandated by Section 2.06, and Section 2(C)/1\ of the Illinois Open Meetings Act: the Appointment. Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of Specific Employees of the Public Body or Legal Counsel for the Public Body, Including Hearing Testimony on a Complaint Lodged Against on Employee of the Public Body or Against Legal Counsel for the Public Body to Determine its Validity. Commissioners Ruhin, Ku|vvin, Johnson Rubin and Hartman voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed. The Commission moved to Executive Session from 0:31 p.nn. to6:35p.m. Page Iof2 RETURN TO OPEN SESSION: The open session resumed at 6:35 p.m. FF/PM Candidate #10 Timothy Tesch. A motion was made by Commissioner Rubin, seconded by Commissioner Johnson to make a conditional offer of employment to FF/PM Candidate Timothy Tesch. Commissioners Kulwin, Johnson, Rubin and Hartman voted against the motion. The motion failed. FF/PM Candidate #18 Andrew Tober. A motion was made by Commissioner Rubin, seconded by Commissioner Johnson to make a conditional offer of employment to FF/PM Candidate Andrew Tober. Commissioners Kulwin, Johnson, Rubin and Hartman voted against the motion. The motion failed. Police Officer Lateral Candidate #1 Jonathon Cwyner. A motion was made by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Rubin to make a conditional offer of employment to Police Officer Lateral Candidate Jonathon Cwyner. Commissioners Kulwin, Johnson, Rubin and Hartman voted against the motion. The motion failed. Police Officer Lateral Candidate #2 Masood Kahn. A motion was made by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Rubin to make a conditional offer of employment to Police Officer Lateral Candidate Masood Kahn. Commissioners Kulwin, Johnson, Rubin and Hartman voted for the motion. The motion carried. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Commissioner Rubin, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to adjourn the meeting at 6:43 p.m. All Commissioners present voted in favor of the motion. The motion passed.
