Dear Phil:
T`hank you for volunteering to serve on the Buffalo Grove Joint Commission on Aging. The
Village of Buffalo Grove and the Buffalo Grove Park District are extremely excited about
this new endeavor. The Joint Commission will hold its first meeting on August 24, 1993,
from 4:00 P.M. to 5:15 P.M. The meeting will be held at the Buffalo Grove Park District
Alcott Center located at 530 Bernard Drive.
The purpose of this meeting is to get acquainted, review how the commission concept has �
evolved, and to discuss how to best serve the community. I have taken the liberty of
enclosing several items to help prepare you for these discussions. These items include an
agenda, a report completed by a Blue Ribbon Committee sponsored by the Village of Buffalo
Grove, and the resolution which created the commission.
