The assets were either used for trade-in or outright disposed of. All capital assets will be removed from the Village's balance sheet. B. 0-2017-14 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20, Liquor Controls,to Rescind the Class H Liquor License for Connoisseur Encounters Company, Inc. Inc. d/b/a The Wine Cellar Group at 1341 Barclay Boulevard has submitted written notice that they no longer wish to renew their Buffalo Grove Liquor License#1662.Therefore,the license for Connoisseurs Encounters Co. Inc. d/b/a The Wine Cellar Group at 1341 Barclay Boulevard is hereby rescinded. C. 0-2017-15 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20, Liquor Controls (President Sussman)(Staff Contact: Julie Kamka) SUMMARY:A Class E liquor license is reserved for Pizza Amore, Inc. at 808 Milwaukee Avenue. This reservation is subject to the applicant completing Village requirements for said license on or before July 24, 2017. The Village Manager shall have the authority to extend the July 24, 2017 date for good cause shown. If not so extended,this reservation shall cease. D. R-2017-13 A Resolution to Support the Welcoming and Inclusive Community Pledge (President Sussman)(Staff Contact: Dane Bragg) SUMMARY:A resolution supporting the Welcoming and Inclusive Community Pledge which inspires a positive perception of all people and engages individuals to help build a greater capacity for understanding others. E. Award of Bid Bike Path & Parking Lot Project (Trustee Stein)(Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff recommends an award of bid to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, TAT Enterprises Inc., at an amount not to exceed$140,000.00, as further detailed in the attached memo. F. Award of Bid 2017 Sidewalk Project (Trustee Stein)(Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY:Staff recommends the Village Board award the bid for 2017 Sidewalk Project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, Globe Construction. In an amount not to exceed$211,110.00. G. GHA Construction Management (Trustee Stein)(Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY: Staff seeks authorization to execute an agreement with Gewalt Hamilton Associates, Inc.for resident engineering and construction staking services in an amount not to exceed $98,500. H. Certificate of Initial Acceptance and Approval: Easthaven Development (Trustee Trilling) (Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY:Attached is the Certificate of Initial Acceptance for the Pulte Homes Easthaven development south of Olive Hill Drive. Staff recommends approval and to begin the one year maintenance period. Local Agency Agreement with IDOT (Trustee Trilling)(Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY:The Illinois Department of Transportation requires this agreement for the Village to receive reimbursement for expenses relating to the Raupp Blvd Bridge Project. J. Authorization to Purchase a Replacement Vehicle through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (Trustee Ottenheimer)(Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff recommends that the replacement vehicle be acquired through the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative program in accordance with the Illinois Governmental Joint Purchasing Act(30 ILCS 525/0.01 et seq.)in a total not to exceed amount of $23,465.00. This vehicle will be funded through the vehicle reserve. K. Proclaiming May 7-13 as Municipal Clerks Week (Clerk Sirabian)(Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY:Communities throughout the world are celebrating May 7-13,2017 as Municipal Clerks Week. We recognize the accomplishments of our Village of Buffalo Grove Clerk,Janet M. Sirabian. L. Proclaiming May 2017 as Building Safety Month (Trustee Trilling)(Staff Contact:Julie Kamka) SUMMARY: Building Safety Month(BSM),founded by the ICC, is celebrated by jurisdictions worldwide during the month of May. Building Safety Month is a public awareness campaign to help individuals,families and businesses understand what it takes to create safe and sustainable structures. M. Proclamation Recognizing April 28, 2017 as Arbor Day (Trustee Stein)(Staff Contact: Michael Reynolds) SUMMARY:Attached is a Proclamation designating Friday, April 28, 2017 Arbor Day in Buffalo Grove. Traditionally the last Friday in April has been designated as Arbor Day in Illinois. The Proclamation is one of four criteria to qualify for the Tree City U.S.A.Award. N. Proclamation Recognizing Distracted Driving Awareness Month 2017 (Trustee Trilling) (Staff Contact: Steven Casstevens) SUMMARY:The Village recognizes April 2017 as distracted driving awareness month. 9. Speakers shall use every attempt to not be repetitive of points that have been made by others. The Village Board may refer any matter of public comment to the Village Manager, Village staff or an appropriate agency for review. 13.
