A. Proclamation Recognizing Payroll Week (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Scott

SUMMARY: The Village of Buffalo Grove supports the efforts of Village staff who work on
payroll by proclaiming the first full week of September Payroll Week.
B. Proclamation Recognizing Bike-To-Work Challenge 2018 (Trustee Ottenheimer)(Staff
Contact: Nicole Woods)

SUMMARY: The Village recognizes the Bike-to-Work Challenge 2018, a two-week
competition among Chicagoland companies, public agencies, and non-profits which
encourages active transportation.
C. National IPA-Joint Purchasing Agreement (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Brett
Robinson)
SUMMARY: Staff requests that the Village Manager or his designee be authorized to
execute the attached National IPA Cooperative Purchasing Master Agreement pending
final review and approval by the Village Attorney.
D. Authorization to Execute Contract Extensions with Multiple Vendors (Trustee Stein)

SUMMARY: Staff recommends that the Village President and Board of Trustees
authorize staff to execute the following contract extensions as listed below and further
detailed in the attached memo.
The first contract option with Paramedic Billing Services,for ambulance and fire billing
services.
The fourth year contract option with Fire Safety Consultants, Inc.for third party plan
review services.
E. R-2018-14 Amended Northern Illinois Police Alarm System Agreement (Trustee
Ottenheimer) (Staff Contact: Steven Casstevens)
SUMMARY: Northern Illinois Police Alarm System (NIPAS) has amended their most
recent agreement(2003)due to growth over the past 15 years and the Village must
approve the new agreement in order to continue participation.
F. 0-2018-31 Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20, Liquor Controls (President Sussman)

SUMMARY:A Class A liquor license is reserved for Telugu Ruchulu of BG, LLC d/b/a
Nawabi Hyderabad House Biryani Place at 225 McHenry Road. This reservation is
subject to the applicant completing Village requirements for said license on or before
September 10, 2018. The Village Manager shall have the authority to extend the
September 10, 2018 date for good cause shown. If not so extended,this reservation
shall cease.

12. Questions From the Audience
Questions from the audience are limited to items that are not on the regular agenda. In
accordance with Section 2.02.070 of the Municipal Code, discussion on questions from the
audience will be limited to 10 minutes and should be limited to concerns or comments regarding
issues that are relevant to Village business. All members of the public addressing the Village
Board shall maintain proper decorum and refrain from making disrespectful remarks or comments
relating to individuals. Speakers shall use every attempt to not be repetitive of points that have
been made by others. The Village Board may refer any matter of public comment to the Village
Manager,Village staff or an appropriate agency for review.
13. Executive Session

14. Adjournment
The Village Board will make every effort to accommodate all items on the agenda by 10:30 p.m.
The Board, does, however, reserve the right to defer consideration of matters to another meeting
should the discussion run past 10:30 p.m.
