A. 0-2018-51 Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20- Liquor Controls (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Julie Dziewior) SUMMARY: A Class B liquor license is reserved for Donato Restaurant Group, Inc., contract purchaser of the Buffalo Restaurant at 1180 Lake Cook Road. This reservation is subject to the applicant completing Village requirements for said license on or before February 25, 2019. The Class B liquor license for Buffalo Grove Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor, Inc. at 1180 Lake Cook Road is hereby rescinded effective February 25, 2019 or upon the issuance of the Class B liquor license to Donato Restaurant Group, Inc. at 1180 Lake Cook Road,whichever occurs first. The Ordinance also amends the G5 License used for Buffalo Grove Days to match current practice. B. R-2018-24 Resolution Approving Revisions to the Geographical Information System Consortium Membership Agreement (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff recommends approving a resolution adopting the revisions to the Membership Agreement for a Geographic Information System Consortium. C. R-2018-25 Resolution Ceding the 2018 Unused Private Activity Bond Volume Cap of the Village of Buffalo Grove(Including Volume Cap Transferred from Other Lake County Home Rule Units)to Lake County (Trustee Ottenheimer) (Staff Contact: Chris Stilling) SUMMARY: Buffalo Grove is the host of the Lake County Partners Private Activity Bond Clearinghouse. The resolution is required annually so that unused funds can be transferred over to the next year and used in the future. D. Tents and Rental Equipment for Buffalo Grove Days 2019 (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff recommends authorizing the Village Manager to execute an agreement with Indestructo Rental Company for Tent and Equipment Rental Services for the 2019 Buffalo Grove Days event at a price not to exceed, $25,646.60. E. Pyrotechnic Services for the Fourth of July 2019 (Trustee Ottenheimer) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff requests the Village Board authorize the Village Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement with Melrose Pyrotechnics for a July 4th 2019 Fireworks display at a price not to exceed, $26,500. F. Award of Bid Elevator Inspections (Trustee Weidenfeld) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff recommends the Village Board authorize the Village Manager to execute an agreement with Elevator Inspection Services (EIS) for elevator inspections in accordance with the Illinois Governmental Joint Purchasing Act (30 ILCS 525/0.01 et seq.), pending review and approval of the Agreement by the Village Attorney. G. Authorization to Seek Competitive Bids for Various Projects (Trustee Johnson, Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY: Staff requests Authorization to Bid for the various Fiscal Year 2019 projects as further detailed in the attached memo. H. Certificate of Initial Acceptance and Approval: Metro Self Storage Development Improvements (Trustee Smith) (Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY: Attached is the Certificate of Initial Acceptance for the Metro Self Storage development located at 847 Deerfield Road. Staff recommends approval to begin the one year maintenance period on December 3rd, 2018. J. Certificate of Initial Acceptance and Approval: Prairie Landing Development (Trustee Smith) (Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY: Attached is the Certificate of Initial Acceptance for the Prairie Landing development located at the northeast corner of Route 22 and Prairie Road. Staff recommends approval to begin the one year maintenance period on December 3rd, 2018. K. Approve Plats of Easement (Trustee Smith) (Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY: Staff recommends approval. The School District provided plats of easement for new water main for the building additions at the Meridian Middle School and Aptakisic Junior High School. L. Questions From the Audience Questions from the audience are limited to items that are not on the regular agenda. In accordance with Section 2.02.070 of the Municipal Code, discussion on questions from the audience will be limited to 10 minutes and should be limited to concerns or comments regarding issues that are relevant to Village business. All members of the public addressing the Village Board shall maintain proper decorum and refrain from making disrespectful remarks or comments relating to individuals. Speakers shall use every attempt to not be repetitive of points that have been made by others. The Village Board may refer any matter of public comment to the Village Manager, Village staff or an appropriate agency for review. 13. Execuitive Session A.
