SUMMARY:A proclamation recognizing May 19th through May 25th, 2019 as National
Public Works Week.

SUMMARY: Staff requests authorization for the Village Manager to execute an
agreement with PUSH Wellness Solutions, Inc. to provide employee wellness screenings,
training, and related educational opportunities for the three year period of July 1, 2019
through June 30, 2022.
E. Approval of an Inter-Governmental Agreement with Cook County for an Invest in Cook

SUMMARY: The Village received a$50,000 grant towards the Phase 1 study of Bernard
Drive and an Inter-Governmental Agreement is required to be approved by the Village
Board to receive the funds.
F. Buffalo Grove Days- Sound and Lighting Change Order (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact:
Brett Robinson)
SUMMARY:The main act for Buffalo Grove Days requires additional sound and light
equipment for their show, the associated equipment is listed on the attached quote and
will increase the total contract amount by$3,775.00.
G. Approval of a Class a Liquor License for Spyder Entertainment, Inc. D/B/A Traktir the 12
Chairs (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Julie Dziewior)
SUMMARY:The Village Board approved Ordinance 2018-034, reserving a Class A
Liquor license for Spyder Entertainment, Inc. d/b/a Traktir the 12 Chairs at 1224 Dundee
Road. In an effort to work with the applicant and after conferring with the Village Attorney
staff determined, due to the passage of time, the issuance of the Class A License would
need to be approved by the Village Board now that the license requirements have been
fulfilled and the Certificate of Occupancy and Business License are issued.
H. R-2019-13 Resolution Appointing a Director and Alternate Director to the Solid Waste
Agency of Northern Cook County (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson)
SUMMARY: Resolution appointing Beverly Sussman to the Board of Directors and Dane
Bragg as Alternative Director of the Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County.
R-2019-14 Resolution Approving the Revised 2019 Pay Ranges (Trustee Weidenfeld)

SUMMARY:The attached 2019 pay ranges have been revised to reflect new salary
ranges for members of both the police and fire bargaining units as negotiated.There has
been a new position added due to the upcoming reorganization of the Office of the
Village Manager and Community Development Department.The pay ranges as
presented are consistent with the salaries programmed in the adopted FY 2019 Budget.
J. 0-2019-28 Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20- Liquor Controls: Class B -Tomatillo
Taco-Ville 2 LLC (President Sussman) (Staff Contact:Julie Dziewior)
SUMMARY: A Class B liquor license is reserved for Tomatillo Taco-Ville 2 LLC at 1267
Dundee Road. This reservation is subject to the applicant completing Village
requirements for said license on or before September 9, 2019.
K. 0-2019-29 Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20- Liquor Controls: Class E-MOD Pizza
and Original Bagel &Bialy (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Julie Dziewior)
SUMMARY:A Class E liquor license is reserved for MOD Super Fast Pizza, LLC d/b/a
MOD Pizza at 1555 Deerfield Parkway. A Class E liquor license is reserved for Abba, Inc.
d/b/a Original Bagel & Bialy at 105 McHenry Road. Both reservations are subject to the
applicants completing Village requirements for said licenses on or before September 9,
2019.
L. 0-2019-30 An Ordinance Concerning Prevailing Wages (Trustee Weidenfeld)(Staff
Contact: Brett Robinson)
SUMMARY: The ordinance establishes the effective prevailing wages for both Cook and
Lake Counties for the year beginning June 1, 2019 and ending May 31, 2020.The
ordinance is required to be approved each year.
M. 0-2019-31 Amendment to the Traffic Ordinance (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Darren

SUMMARY:An Ordinance upgrading the yield signs to stop signs on Chenault
Drive/Court at Golfview Terrace.
N. 0-2019-32 Ordinance Authorizing the Disposal of Surplus Village Personal Property

SUMMARY: The attached list of Village owned property was disposed of during FY 2018.
The assets were either used for trade-in or outright disposed of. All capital assets will be
removed from the Village's balance sheet.

12. Questions From the Audience
Questions from the audience are limited to items that are not on the regular agenda. In
accordance with Section 2.02.070 of the Municipal Code, discussion on questions from the
audience will be limited to 10 minutes and should be limited to concerns or comments regarding
issues that are relevant to Village business. All members of the public addressing the Village
Board shall maintain proper decorum and refrain from making disrespectful remarks or comments
relating to individuals. Speakers shall use every attempt to not be repetitive of points that have
been made by others. The Village Board may refer any matter of public comment to the Village
Manager,Village staff or an appropriate agency for review.
