(Attached). A. National Preparedness Month Proclamation (Trustee Smith) (Staff Contact: Mike Baker) SUMMARY: Proclamation recognizes September as National Preparedness Month. B. Proclamation Recognizing October 2019 as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Dane Bragg) SUMMARY:This proclamation recognizes that October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, which first began in 1981 by the National Coalition against Domestic Violence as a Day of Unity to connect battered women's advocates across the country. C. Change Order for 2019 Painting Services (Trustee Pike) (Staff Contact: Brett Robinson) SUMMARY:As part of the Village's recent Police Department painting project staff is requesting additional work be performed at the Fire Administration building in an amount not to exceed$3,935.00 D. Certificate of Initial Acceptance and Approval: 1250 Busch Parkway Development Improvements (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Darren Monico) SUMMARY:Attached is the Certificate of Initial Acceptance for the development located at 1250 Busch Parkway. Staff recommends approval to begin the one year maintenance period on September 16th, 2019. E. 0-2019-45 Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20- Liquor Controls:True North Energy - D1 Liquor License (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Julie Dziewior) SUMMARY:A Class D1 liquor license is reserved for True North Energy, LLC at 185 Milwaukee Avenue. This reservation is subject to the applicant completing Village requirements for said license on or before January 6, 2020. F. 0-2019-44 Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20 - Liquor Controls: Graham Enterprise, Inc (BP) Class D1 Liquor License (President Sussman) (Staff Contact: Julie Dziewior) SUMMARY:A Class D1 liquor license is reserved for Graham Enterprise, Inc. at 540 McHenry Road. This reservation is subject to the applicant completing Village requirements for said license on or before January 6, 2020. G. 0-2019-46 Approve an Ordinance Granting a Variation for an Electronic Sign at 601 Deerfield Parkway (Trustee Weidenfeld) (Staff Contact: Chris Stilling) SUMMARY:The Buffalo Grove Park District is seeking approval of a variation to replace an existing ground sign with a new electronic message display along McHenry Road at the Fitness Center. The Planning &Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval, subject to the conditions in the attached Ordinance H. 0-2019-47 Approve an Ordinance Granting a Variaition for Roof-Mounted Antennas at 485 Half Day Road (Trustee Johnson) (Staff Contact:Chris Stilling) SUMMARY:T-Mobile has petitioned the Village for a variation to install wireless antennas on the roof of the building at 485 Half Day Road. The height of the antennas mounted on the roof exceed Village Code. The Planning &Zoning Commission unanimously recommended approval, subject to conditions. Staff concurs with this recommendation. R-2019-30 Resolution Relating to the Semi-Annual Review of Closed Session Minutes (Clerk Sirabian) (Staff Contact: Julie Dziewior) SUMMARY:The Corporate Authorities of the Village determine that the need for confidentiality still exists as to all closed session minutes approved on May 20, 2019 or not previously released, and the same shall not be released for public inspection. 9. Ordinances and Resolutions A. 0-2019-48 Ordinance Amending Chapter 3 of the Buffalo Grove Municipal Code Imposing a Municipal Cannabis Retailers' Occupation Tax (Trustee Smith) (Staff Contact: Chris Stilling) 10. In accordance with Section 2.02.070 of the Municipal Code, discussion on questions from the audience will be limited to 10 minutes and should be limited to concerns or comments regarding issues that are relevant to Village business. All members of the public addressing the Village Board shall maintain proper decorum and refrain from making disrespectful remarks or comments relating to individuals. Speakers shall use every attempt to not be repetitive of points that have been made by others. The Village Board may refer any matter of public comment to the Village Manager, Village staff or an appropriate agency for review. 13. Executive Session A.
