SUMMARY: A Proclamation recognizing National Engineers Week, February 20-26,
2022.
B. Waive of Bids - Portable Radio Purchase (Trustee Johnson) (Staff Contact: Mike Baker)
SUMMARY: Staff recommends that the Village Board waive bids and authorize staff to
purchase the above mentioned replacement equipment at a total not to exceed amount of
$54,302.28 from Motorola Solutions.
C. Authorization to Bid Fuel Island Decommissioning (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Tom
Wisniewski)
SUMMARY: Staff seeks authorization to bid the Fuel Island decommissioning at the
Public Works facility.
D. R-2022-1 A Resolution Reallocating the 2022 Volume Cap to the Village of Buffalo
Grove (Trustee Pike)(Staff Contact: Nicole Woods)
SUMMARY: The Village is the host of the Private Activity Bond Clearinghouse for Lake
County. This is the annual Resolution that transfers the Village's Volume Cap to the
Clearinghouse.
E. 0-2022-14 Award of Bid Facility Services (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Tom
Wisniewski)
SUMMARY: Staff recommends that the Village Board authorize the Village Manager to
execute a contract with Cintas Corporation at a price not to exceed $49,710.80 for a
three-year contract in accordance with the Illinois Governmental Joint Purchasing Act (30
ILCS 525/0.01 et seq.)pending review and approval by the Village Attorney.
F. 0-2022-15 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 5.20-Liquor Controls (President
Sussman) (Staff Contact: Jessie Brown)
SUMMARY: The Class A liquor license issued to Select Restaurant, Inc. d/b/a Countyline
Tavern at 800 Lake Cook Road is hereby rescinded.The business has closed.
G. 0-2022-16 Water and Weigh Station Design (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Kyle
Johnson)
SUMMARY: Staff recommends approval of the Gewalt Hamilton Associates design
engineering contract for a Water and Weigh Station in an amount not to exceed
$34,500.00, pending legal review, subject to review and approval by Village Attorney.
H. 0-2022-17 Radio Network Communications (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Tom

SUMMARY: Staff recommends that the Village Board authorize the Village Manager to
purchase radio network equipment and installation services from Urban Communications
Inc., at a total price not to exceed $37,547.00, pending review and approval of an
agreement by the Village Attorney.
0-2022-18 Ordinance Authorizing the Waiver of Bids and Authorization to Purchase
Liquid De-Icing "Beet Heet" (Trustee Stein) (Staff Contact: Tom Wisniewski)
SUMMARY: Staff requests authorization to waive bids and purchase "Beet Heet"from K-
Tech Specialty products at a price not to exceed $52,000.00 per year for snow removal
operations in 2022 &2023.
J. 0-2022-19 SCADA Technology Improvements (Trustee Smith) (Staff Contact: Kyle
Johnson)
SUMMARY: Staff recommends approval of the C2Wise support services contract for
various SCADA technological improvements, subject to review and approval by Village
Attorney. Based upon the scope of work the total value of this contract is a not to exceed
amount of$45,000.

SUMMARY: The Village Board authorizes the Village Manager to purchase a
replacement vehicle in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00 pending review and approval

12. Questions From the Audience
Questions from the audience are limited to items that are not on the regular agenda. In
accordance with Section 2.02.070 of the Municipal Code, discussion on questions from
the audience will be limited to 5 minutes and should be limited to concerns or comments
regarding issues that are relevant to Village business. All members of the public addressing
the Village Board shall maintain proper decorum and refrain from making disrespectful remarks
or comments relating to individuals. Speakers shall use every attempt to not be repetitive of
points that have been made by others. The Village Board may refer any matter of public
comment to the Village Manager, Village staff or an appropriate agency for review.
