PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for annexation
with zoning in the R-E Residential Estate District for Parcels 1, 2
and 3 and approval of a Special Use and Preliminary Plan in the R-E
District and Office and Research (O&R) District for a public park
facility on Parcels 1, 2, 3 and 4.
The Buffalo Grove Park District proposes to develop Busch Grove
Community park as a multi-use facility including a community
center, swimming pool, ice rink, ball fields, tennis, volleyball
and basketball courts and natural areas. Outdoor lighting is
proposed for the ball fields in the central portion of the site and
for the tennis courts in the northeastern corner of the site
adjacent to Buffalo Grove Road.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 76. 67-acre
tract bounded on the north by Busch Road, on the east by Buffalo
Grove Road and on the west by Illinois Route 83 .
