PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for zoning in the R-3
(One-Family Dwelling) District upon annexation, and Special Use authorization
and Preliminary Plan approval for a church and parsonage with the following
variations: ZONING ORDINANCE: Section 17.40.020.B. (to allow an interior
side yard of 8 feet on the north side of the parsonage) ; DEVELOPMENT
ORDINANCE: Section 16.50.040.C.4 (to allow shoreline treatment of a pond
to vary from the requirement of using natural stones) . The Preliminary
Plan proposes a four-phase development including a church, a parsonage, and
a school .
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION:. The approximately 4.5-acre parcel at
the northeast corner of Buffalo Grove Road and Busch Road.
