PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for a variation of Section 16.50.080.A.2.b. of the
Village Development Ordinance concerning the width of a driveway apron in the public parkway.
The petitioner has constructed an extension to the driveway on the property, including an expanded
apron in the public parkway that exceeds the maximum width of twenty-one (21) feet at the street
curbline and twenty-four (24) feet at the sidewalk. The expanded width and taper are not in
conformance with Exhibit No. 503 of the Village Development Ordinance. The petitioner requests a
variation to allow the apron to remain as constructed rather than removing the portion in violation of
Village ordinance.
