PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for approval of rezoning from the Residential
Estate District to the R-3 One-family Dwelling District with the following variations: ZONING
ORDINANCE- Section 17.40.020.B. (to allow a lot width of 70 feet instead of 80 feet and to allow
side yards of 7 feet for proposed Lot 1);DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE - Section 16.50.070.D.2
(to defer widening the pavement of Arlyd Road from 20 feet to the Village standard of 24 feet) and
Section 16.50.070.I. to defer required curb and gutter along Arlyd Road).
The petitioner proposes to re-plat the property to construct three single-family homes.
SUBJECT PROPERTY COMMON DESCRIPTION: The approximately 0.85-acre parcel at the
northeast corner of Prairie Road and Arlyd Road.
