PUBLIC HEARING
SUBJECT: Petition to the Village of Buffalo Grove for amendment of a Planned Unit
Development (P.U.D.) and Preliminary Plan and approval of a Special Use for a drive-through
pharmacy facility in the B-3 Planned Busmess Center District with the following variations: ZONING
ORDINANCE - Section 17.36.040.F.2. (To allow 449 off-street parking spaces rather than 574
spaces as required by Ordinance for the building area of 126,245 square feet proposed in Phase 1 of
the project,and to allow 501 parking spaces rather than 510 spaces as required by Ordinance for the
final planned building area of 112,160 square feet); DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE - Section
16.50.080.A.1. (To allow the re-constructed sidewalk along the south side of Dundee Road to be
located on the Property rather than within the right-of-way of Dundee Road).
The petitioner proposes to construct a Walgreens drug store of 15,120 square feet, including a drive-
through pharmacy window on the south side of the building, and to make modifications to the
existing buildings, parking lot and landscaping in the Plaza Verde-East shopping center.
